Spring Picnic with JETAA, JCSA, & JAVA
On May 6th 2012, JAVA teamed up with the JET Programme Alumni Association of Toronto and U of T’s Japan Canada Student Association for a Spring Picnic in High Park. The weather was perfect. Thanks to everyone who came out. Hope to see you at another one soon!

Award Presentation at the Home of Japanese Consul General Eiji Yamamoto
On March 9th 2012, JAVA was invited into the home of Consul-General of Japan Eiji Yamamoto to receive an award from the Japanese Consulate for all of our fundraising efforts in 2011. JAVA joined CJS and JETAA in receiving an award and enjoying the food and conversation.

Inari Sushi Sales at the NJCA’s ShinNenKai New Years Festival
On January 22, 2012, JAVA rented a booth at the JCCC and sold handmade sweet inari sushi. We had lots of fun and made a little money to support our other free events.

CJS-JAVA-JETAA Boat Cruise Fundraiser Cheque Presentation at the JCCC 20111003
2011年7月10日に行われた「CJS-JAVA-JETAA Boat Cruise Fundraiser」にて、東北地方復興を支援するための義援金 $2676.29 が集り、2011年10月3日に JCCC Foundation に送られました。JCCC の Gary さんと Sid さんをはじめ、JAVAスタッフの Mark と Naoe、また JETAA からは Chris と Natalie が参加し写真撮影を行いました。集った義援金は JCCC を通じて日本へ送られます。ボートクルーズに参加してくださった皆様、大変ありがとうございました。
JAVA staff members Mark and Naoe join JETAA staff Chris and Natalie in presenting a cheque for $2676.29 to the Gary, Sid, and other members of JCCC’s Board. This money will go to the JCCC’s Japan Disaster Relief Fund to help victims of the March 11 Tohoku Disasters. Thanks for all the support, and otsukaresama!
